Norilsk Nickel RAS net profit falls by 8.2% in January–September

MOSCOW, Oct 28 (PRIME) -- The net profit of Russian metals giant Norilsk Nickel decreased by 8.2% on the year to 303.967 billion rubles in January–September, as calculated under Russian Accounting Standards (RAS), the company said in a report on Friday.

Revenue gained 1.4% to 610.906 billion rubles, while the gross profit shrank by almost 20% to 272.925 billion rubles. The sales profit rose by 26% to 220.84 billion rubles, while the cost of sales increased by 29% to 337.980 billion rubles. The pretax profit decreased by 0.7% to 384.558 billion rubles.
